AlchemicalArt is about transformation.
The images you see in my work are like clouds - changing, shaping, and unfolding as you view the paintings. It's called "eidetic vision," when
we "see" with our imagination, remembering that the nature of
alchemy always transforms.
I paint with watercolors, acrylics, and/or india inks on YUPO brand polypropylene paper, a trademarked, biodegradable, tree-free
paper that's virtually indestructible. Paint does not absorb into
the paper initially. It remains flexible, so the artist may create
interesting images using a variety of techniques before the drying
process sets the artwork.
